Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) said it would hold the second edition of its Stree Summit, a flagship event focused on empowering women in safety and security, here on April 15. Launching the poster for the event, police commissioner C.V. Anand, HCSC chairperson, said: "Ensuring the safety and security of women is not just a responsibility but a moral obligation.”
As a follow up on the UN Women’s theme "For all women and girls: Rights, equality, empowerment”, Anand said the HCSC was bringing together leaders, experts, and advocates to foster dialogue and drive positive change in creating safer environments for women.
