Hyderabad: An Andhra Pradesh native, who had been missing for two days in Texas, was found dead in what is believed to be a case of suicide.
Abhishek Kolli, originally from Gudivada, was last seen on Saturday in Phoenix, Texas. His body was found on Sunday.
His brother, Aravind Kolli, revealed in a GoFundMe post that Abhishek had been struggling with financial difficulties. In the 10 hours of the GoFundMe page being created, more than $18,000 have been raised.
“It was a devastating consequence of the overwhelming financial crisis he faced. A burden that grew too heavy for him eventually made him take his own life”, Aravind wrote on the GoFundMe page.
He said, “Despite his strength, the weight of those struggles took him from us, leaving our family shattered and grappling with both grief and the same financial strain that haunted him.”
Local reports revealed that following Abhishek’s disappearance, community members and law enforcement officials began searching for him in Princeton, Texas.
