Army conducts medical outreach camp for veterans
Hyderabad: The Military Hospital Golconda, under the aegis of the headquarters of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, organised a medical outreach camp for veterans and their dependents in Golconda and Hyderabad. The initiative aimed to provide specialist healthcare to retired Indian armed forces personnel and their families.
The camp offered a wide range of medical services, including general medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, dental, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and cardiology, along with diagnostic facilities.
Free medicines were distributed to the attendees, underscoring the commitment of HQ TASA to ensuring the welfare of veterans.
The Hyderabad Veterans' Lions Club and the Army College of Dental Services
also participated in the event. Brigadier S. K. Chetty, representing HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, interacted with the attendees and assured them of continued support for quality healthcare.
"The Indian Army is always committed to reaching out to veterans and addressing their concerns. We honour your service and remain dedicated to your welfare," he said during his address.
At least 350 veterans and their dependents attended the camp.
