Hyderabad: To deepen public awareness of the Indian Army’s capabilities and inspire patriotism, the ‘Know Your Army’ Mela 2025 will be held at the Golconda Fort in Hyderabad from January 3 to 5. Organised under the aegis of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) and coordinated by the Artillery Centre, Hyderabad, the event is a precursor to the Army Day Parade 2025.
Golconda Fort’s accessibility and majestic setting are expected to attract visitors of all ages, the organisers said. The mela will feature an extensive display of the Army’s technological and operational prowess. Equipment on display includes artillery guns, advanced operational tools, small arms, communication systems, and NBC warfare suits. Army personnel will be available to offer detailed briefings, answer queries, and explain the practical applications of these technologies.
Visitors will also have the chance to explore recruitment booths providing career guidance. Adding to the vibrancy of the event, military bands will deliver live performances. At the same time, exhibitions showcasing gallantry medals and stories of valour will provide a glimpse into the Army’s rich legacy.
