Hyderabad:The Telangana High Court on Thursday granted anticipatory bail to Bachupally tahsildar Phool Singh, in the crime registered against him on a complaint of HYDRAA officials for approving structures in the buffer zone of Errakunta, Pragathinagar, in Survey No. 134 under the Nizampet municipality.
Singh had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the High Court stating that he has joined as tahsildar of Bachupally in August 2023, by which time one alleged illegal structure had been granted in favour of one Venkatesh by the HMDA in 2020 for construction of stilt plus five upper floors in around 600 square yards and another building permission was granted in favour of MAPS Infra on September 13, 2023 by the Nizampet municipality.
He submitted that he was wrongly implicated in the crime and sought relief by way of an anticipatory bail. The court allowed his application.
