Hyderabad:An unidentified woman was run over by a vehicle within the Medchal police station limits at 11 pm on Tuesday. The Medchal circle inspector said the woman is suspected to be a 60-year-old beggar and was on her way back home after collecting food. The woman suffered head injuries because of the accident and died.
Passersby informed the police through a Dial 100 call. The body of the woman was shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem. A case was registered under Section 106 of the BNS and further investigation is underway.
