Bhatti visits MINExpo in Las Vegas and interacts with foreign delegates
Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited MINExpo in Las Vegas, US.
The event showcased the latest mining innovations, technologies, and machinery, and is expected to provide opportunities to network with more than 44,000 industry professionals from over 125 countries in attendance.
He met the management of Komatsu, Caterpillar Inc., BKT tyres and also met with various top-level officials of the US government, who included Arun Venkataraman, Assistant Secretary of Global Markets and Olimar Rivera Noa, Senior Policy Advisor, among others.
Both sides had a very fruitful exchange with the US, expressing keen interest in facilitating any possible investments in Telangana. Bhatti discussed several aspects with Arun Venkataraman apart from the importance of sustainability in mining and other operations.
The meeting ended positively with Venkataraman expressing hope for renewed future collaborations.
