Bihar-Allocated IAS Trainees To Learn Urban Governance From GHMC

Hyderabad: IAS trainees of the 2023 batch allocated to Bihar will study best practices implemented in the GHMC, till August 17. They will interact with senior GHMC officials dealing with sanitation, veterinary, solid waste management, revenue, IT, engineering, comprehensive road management programme, model graveyards, marketing, road and nala development programmes and lake management, among areas. The visit is intended to provide the IAS trainees with insights and practical exposure to urban governance, municipal management, and effective administration.
