Hyderabad: A video of Chevella Ravi Kumar, popularly known as Bithiri Sathi, drew ire from netizens. In the video, Bithiri Sathi made a skit using the Bhagavad Gita, the holy book of Hindus. This video didn't sit well with Hindu organizations, who have demanded Bithiri Sathi to remove the video and issue an apology to the Hindu community.
A Hindu outfit, Vanara Sena, filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cyber Crime police, seeking action against him for hurting the sentiments of Hindus.
Bithiri Sathi released another video, stating that some people had misunderstood the original video, which he had shot for fun, as he had done before. He apologized to anyone who was hurt by the video.
