BJP MP Etala Rajendar Advocates for Trade Union Rights at Security Printing Press

Hyderabad: BJP MP Etala Rajendar jumped into active trade union politics, visiting the Security Printing Press on Tuesday, interacting with the employees and seeking their support for the Security Printing Press Mazdoor Sangh in the ensuing union elections.

Rajendar told the employees that he had released funds for the revival of the Security Printing Press when he was Telangana finance minister. He also said that the Modi government was committed to the effective functioning of all public sector units.

He noted that the Centre had reopened the Ramagundam Fertiliser Factory, closed around 25 years ago, by allocating Rs 6,300 crore.

Taking part in the Security Printing Press Mazdoor Sangh cadre meeting, Rajendar said that the Centre had allocated Rs 4 lakh crore in the Budget to create employment for educated unemployed members.

The Centre was regularly releasing the job notifications every six months. Rajendar said had always extended support to trade unions in their genuine agitations in his 25 years in politics.
