BJP MPs, MLAs failed to bring funds to state: Chary

Nizamabad: Former Union minister S. Venugopala Chary on Saturday criticised BJP MPs and MLAs in Telangana for failing to bring special funds to the state.

‘Why don’t BJP MPs and MLAs ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi over implementation of Andhra Pradesh state reorganisation assurances,” he questioned. Modi declared to set up a Turmeric Board in Nizamabad during elections, but it was not yet materialised, he alleged.
Speaking to reporters at Congress Bhavan on Saturday, Chary said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy successfully implemented six guarantees in the state.
People are happy with the implementation of free bus travel, 200 units free power, bonus for paddy and LPG cylinder at Rs 500, he said.

BRS government burdened the state with Rs 7 lakh crore debt, but the Congress government is paying the interest and taking up welfare schemes, he said.

Venugopala Chary criticised that BJP leaders, especially Armoor MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy are making meaningless statements on the state government. The continuous process of recruitment brought confidence among the youths, he said.

Urdu academy chairman Taher Bin Hamdan, state cooperative union chairman Manala Mohan Reddy, Nizamabad urban development authority chairman Kesha Venu, zilla granthalaya samstha chairman Anthareddy Raja Reddy, party senior leaders Narala Ratnakar, Javeed Akram and others were present.
