BJP will win maximum MP seats in Telangana: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: Union Tourism Minister and Telangana BJP State president G Kishan Reddy here on Saturday said the party would be winning the highest number of MP seats this time in the State.

Interacting with party leaders and followers in view of Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates MLC constituency elections at Yadadri bypass road, he said the BJP won the same elections in united Andhra Pradesh and a favourable atmosphere was prevailing for BJP this time in Telangana.

Moreover, intellectuals and educated people were supporting BJP, he said, adding the Congress came to power in Telangana because of anti-incumbency against the BRS during Assembly elections conducted in November 2023. Chances of the BRS MLAs and MLCs to continue in the party were remote given the present political scenario.

Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was not in position to protect his own party MLAs but he sought votes during Lok Sabha elections. The people defeated the BRS only because of its inappropriate governance and family politics, he said.

“People are ready to vote against the Congress in any elections to be held in the State,” Kishan Reddy said. He alleged the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was non-committal over implementing promises given to people during the Assembly elections.

“We will continue to fight on peoples’ issues in future,” he said, stating that the BJP has become an alternative for BRS and Congress and it would continue to remain as an alternative in future as well and called upon the cadre to strive for the party’s victory in the elections.
