BJP’s Bandi Sanjay Criticises Congress, BRS Over Statue Dispute

Karimnagar: People do not want the leaders of ruling Congress and opposition BRS parties to discuss the issues about the installation of statues and they want the implementation of six guarantees, the promise that were made by the Congress party before assembly elections, said Union minister and BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar speaking to newsmen at the Collectorate here in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

“The Congress and BRS are playing dramas to divert the attention of the people from the failures of the government. More than 70 per cent of farmers did not get the loan waiver, when questioned about this, there is no answer from the government. If the Congress government had waived off all the loans of farmers, then it must release a white paper with the details of the number of farmers who took loans, the amounts of loan and how much the state government waived off,” the minister demanded.

If the government waived off all the loans, then why the farmers are staging dharnas, the Congress leaders must not deceive the farmers with their lies, he pointed out. “There is no Rythu Barosa, no dole to the unemployed youth, no one tola gold to the girls under Kalyana Lakshmi scheme and no sanctioning of Rs 2,500 pensions for women under Maha Lakshmi scheme. When the BJP is questioning this, both the Congress and BRS are diverting the people's attention by challenging each other about the installation of statues,” explained the minister.
