Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate from Hyderabad constituency, Madhavi Latha Kompella is leading the Goshamahal segment by over 60,000 votes.
The counting of votes began on Tuesday and initial rounds have given a majority to Madhavi Latha over Asaduddin Owaisi. However, as counting progressed further, Asaduddin took over the lead.
Despite a majority in Goshamahal segment after 14 rounds, Madhavi Latha is trailing by 1,62,468 votes in the polls.
According to Election Commision of India's latest trends, AIMIM's Asaduddin Owasisi is leading the Hyderabad LS seat with 3,99,787 votes.
