Blood Reports of Abounded Husky Dogs Tested Normal

Blood reports clear rescued huskies, FIR filed to trace those who abandoned them

Hyderabad: The blood reports of the seven husky dogs aged between two and three years, that were rescued by two non-profit organisations in Shankarpally on Tuesday, were stated to be normal, ruling out allegations of their being used in any laboratory. The BDL Bhanur Police meanwhile registered an FIR to investigate who abandoned the dogs, said the NGOs.

Gowri Vandhana, president and founder of AASRA Foundation, said: “ The residents have different versions. Some say a vehicle with a large container abandoned 15 or 30 husky dogs. They all are two to three years old and we found eight. One of the dogs died, and seven were rescued. Four are at Swan NGO and three with at an animal parent.”

“We suspected a laboratory using these dogs but the blood reports are normal and did not indicate anything,” she added.
