Boy Dies Hours Before SSC Results, Passes With 470 Marks

Police said Jeshwanth was trying to repair a loose battery connection of his family’s tractor on Wednesday morning when the vehicle suddenly accelerated and ran over him

Nalgonda: A 15-year-old boy who died in an accident just hours before the release of SSC public examination results was declared passed with 470 marks on Wednesday.

Mannem Jeshwanth, a resident of Marroor village in Nakrekal mandal of Nalgonda district, had appeared for the SSC public examinations held in March and was awaiting the results.

Police said Jeshwanth was trying to repair a loose battery connection of his family’s tractor on Wednesday morning when the vehicle suddenly accelerated and ran over him. He died on the spot.

A few hours later, when the SSC results were announced, Jeshwanth was found to have passed with a total of 470 marks, scoring more than 60 marks in all subjects.
