HYDERABAD: BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has written to the secretary-general of the Rajya Sabha appointing Vaddiraju Ravi Chandra as the deputy leader of the BRS parliamentary party. The letter further informed that Divakonda Damodar Rao will be appointed as whip of the BRS parliamentary party in the house with immediate effect.
The party which failed to open its account in the just concluded parliamentary polls has no presence in the Lok Sabha. The party which has four members in the Rajya Sabha hopes to raise its voice through them and make its presence and guard the interest of Telangana at the national level.
