WARANGAL: BRS leaders are intentionally trying to malign the image of the Congress government and are doing false propaganda regarding the loan waiver scheme, alleged chairman of KUDA (Kakatiya Urban Development Authority) Enagala Venkatram Reddy here in Hanamkonda on Sunday.
There is no meaning in staging dharnas by BRS workers without any farmers alleging that the loan waiver scheme was a failure. It is not able to digest the enormous support and appreciation the Congress government is getting from the farmers across the state.
The Revanth Reddy’s government is the first and only government in the country which implemented the loan waiver scheme transparently by waiving huge amounts of farm loans taken by farmers. Even people across the state and in the country noticed this. But BRS leaders are blindfolded who are not able to see this.
Because of some technical issues, some farmers are facing problems in availing the benefits. The government is trying to resolve all issues and is accepting applications from the farmers who have not availed the loan waiver scheme.
The Congress government will fulfil all its promises as it is the people's government. People will not buy the political drama played by the BRS, he added.
