BRS Leaders Object to CM’s Remarks Against KCR
Nalgonda:Senior BRS leader Banda Narender Reddy on Saturday said that the language used by the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, against opposition leaders was downgrading his stature.
Speaking to media in the district BRS office here, Narender Reddy said that the persons holding highest positions should use words weighting twice as it would affect the respect of the post. He strongly objected to the language used by the Chief Minister against the opposition leader K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) while addressing a public gathering during his padayatra along the Musi river at sangem in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
Former Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah said that the BRS never opposed the rejuvenation of the Musi river. It was the BRS government which had set up the Musi river front for the revival of the Musi river. It seems that the Chief Minister took up the padayatra along the Musi river to target KCR. The language used by the Chief Minister and R&B minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was not acceptable in the democratic system. He termed the language of the Chief Minister and the minister at the meeting as ‘rowdi language’.
Former Nalgonda MLA Kancherla Bhupal Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister had taken up the Musi river’s rejuvenation to divert the attention of the people from his failures. He dared the Chief Minister to release a white paper on development and welfare in his 10 months rule.
