BRS Slams Revanth Reddy Over Project Credit Claims
Hyderabad: The BRS continued its attack on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, calling him a credit stealer for “cutting the ribbon” for the Sita Rama lift irrigation scheme and claiming that it was an achievement of the Congress government. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, addressing a meeting of party workers and leaders in Station Ghanpur on Thursday, said, “it has also become a habit for Revanth Reddy to put all good done by the BRS government into his credit column and put anything that has gone wrong into KCR’s lap.”
“Revanth Reddy should be aware that people fully know to whom credit for projects started by the BRS government should go to. Bhatti is claiming that by just spending Rs 75 crore, the Congress government was releasing water from the project. These PR stunts will not forever confuse people,” Rama Rao said.
Rama Rao said the farm loan waiver is a big drama, and this was proved by the fact that Rahul Gandhi did not come for the event. “Even the business deals entered into by the Revanth government during his recent trip abroad are mere extensions of agreements put in place by the BRS government in the past,” Rama Rao claimed.
