Karimnagar: Farmers should never listen to the false propaganda by BRS leaders pertaining to crop loan waiver, said government chief whip and Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar.
He held a review meeting with the officials of the agriculture and revenue departments at the MDPO office of Pegadapalli mandal in Jagtial district on Wednesday. Coming down heavily on the BRS, Laxman Kumar said being in power for 10 years, the BRS did not fulfil any promises made to farmers and drove the farming sector into crisis by imposing unnecessary restrictions.

The Congress government under the leadership of Chief Minister A.Revanth Reddy kept its word of waiving farm loans up to Rs.2 lakh. Due to technical problems, names of some farmers were not enrolled in the list, but the government has asked the farmers to apply once again. That is the commitment of the Congress government, he pointed out.
Farmers who did not avail of loan waiver should not get disappointed. Loan waiver scheme will be applicable to every farmer who is eligible, he assured.
