Hyderabad: Businessman, Student Killed in Separate Accidents
Hyderabad: Two persons including an Intermediate first year student died in twin city on Monday in two separate hit-and-run cases. Among the victims was a 27-year-old businessman who tried to nab a car driver who was trying to flee.
The incident occurred at 12.10 am on Monday when the victim, M. Ajay Babu, along with his friends G. Sujit, Uttej, Samiullah and Tajuddin after having dinner at a restaurant near Nampally were going towards their vehicle.
Nampally police said Ajay noticed a car hitting an autorickshaw and driving away. Ajay Babu ran after the runaway vehicle and tried to intercept it but was hit by the car. Ajay Babu suffered multiple injuries and died while undergoing treatment in the OGH early on Monday.

In a separate incident, a 15-year-old Intermediate student was run over by a minibus at the underpass near Pillar 209 in Aramghar in the early hours of Monday.
The victim, Vardha Barood, was riding a two-wheeler when the minibus hit the vehicle from behind, Attapur police said. The incident occurred at 7.30 am while Vardha was returning home from a gym.
