Caste Data Will Be Used to Extend Sops: Bhatti
Bhatti asserted that the survey has proved the government's sincerity and commitment to development of backward classes and weaker sections.

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said the state government will utilise the caste census data for expanding welfare schemes to the needy and in making key policy decisions on welfare schemes and development programmes.
Addressing a press conference in the Secretariat, Bhatti said though some people resorted to wrong and motivated campaign to create hurdles and prevent caste census in the state, people understood the government’s intention and thought process, and cooperated with the government for the success of the survey.
Vikramarka said that their government was extremely pleased to complete the caste census survey and place it in the State Assembly and Council for which some categories of people had been waiting for decades. The caste census survey was conducted in a transparent and scientific manner, he explained.
He said that the caste survey was like a full body X ray scan and check up on the socio, economic status and condition of people under various parameters and sectors.
Bhatti asserted that the survey has proved the government's sincerity and commitment to development of backward classes and weaker sections. He also said that those who did not participate in the recent survey but still interested to give information, het government is ready to take information from them.
The survey will help in offering solutions to the problems faced by people for decades, he added.
