Over the years, IMC has become one of the world’s leading events in the telecom sector and digital technologies. The event, which is being jointly organised by the department of telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular Operator Association of India (COAI), will have delegates from various start-ups and IT companies apart from ministers from 45 countries.
The DoT has also asked Telangana to showcase the Centre’s flagship initiative – Bharatnet — project in addition to highlighting how Telangana is emerging as AI capital in the country.
In his invitation to the Chief Minister, Union communications minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said: “Your government may consider to put-up a stall at IMC to showcase strides made by Telangana in providing the citizen centric digital services and enabling digital connectivity. I take this opportunity to invite you to grace IMC 2024 and deliver a keynote address.”
