Chekumuki science carnival at Adilabad
Adilabad: The Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) will organise state-level ‘Chekumuki Science Celebrations’ from December 14 in Adilabad district headquarters. The three-day event aims to cultivate scientific temperament, creativity, and an interest in science among students.
Addressing the media on Friday, JVV state president Chelimela Rajeshwar said that a total of 132 teams, comprising 396 students from 33 districts, will participate in the celebrations. He noted that this is the first time that the state-level science celebrations are being held in Adilabad and urged the public to attend in large numbers to ensure the event’s success.
The programme will feature various competitions, including written tests, activity rounds, quizzes, visual and creative rounds, and science experiments. A science carnival and an exhibition by Isro will be among the key attractions for both students and parents.
JVV state secretary Raja Raja, DEO Pranitha, and JVV state leaders Laxma Reddy, Rama Chandraiah, Ravinder Reddy, P. Ushanna, and Viranna were present on the occasion.
