Hyderabad: In a twist to the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, Chikkadapalli police have released a written response to a letter from the theatre management requesting bandobust (security arrangements) during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4 and 5.
The letter, which has now surfaced, reveals that the police had warned the management about the potential for an excessive crowd if the film's hero and heroine attended the special screening. The police advised the theatre management against having the stars present, providing this guidance in writing.
