CM Revanth Reddy Hails Cop for Helping Girl Reach UPSC Centre

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy here on Monday appreciated Rajendranagar traffic police station constable Suresh for dropping a girl near an UPSC examination centre at Palle Cheruvu in Mailardevpally on Sunday on time thus enabling her to appear for the exam.

In a tweet, he appreciated the constable stating that the latter did not feel that regulating traffic was just a job but extending help to a person in need was his responsibility. “My heartfelt appreciation to the constable,” Revanth Reddy said.

He said he was confident that the girl who appeared for the UPSC exam after reaching the centre on time will be successful.

The girl was waiting near Mahavir Engineering College after alighting from a TSRTC bus at Palle Cheruvu bus stop in Mailardevpally. On seeing the girl in a tense situation to reach the examination centre, which is far from the bus stop, Suresh approached and dropped her on his motorcycle.
