Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed deep shock over the death of Sitaram Yechury, a prominent politician, Left-wing stalwart, and General Secretary of the CPM. He extended his heartfelt condolences to Yechury's family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. The Chief Minister remarked that Yechury’s relentless struggles have always been an inspiration and that his passing is an irreparable loss to the country's political landscape.
Revanth highlighted Yechury's remarkable journey, noting that he had been active in national politics for nearly four decades, having started as a student leader. As a Rajya Sabha MP, CPM Politburo member, economist, and social worker, Yechury was widely known and respected across the country.
