CM Revanth Reddy expresses happiness over utilizing free bus facility by school students
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Friday expressed happiness over utilizing the free TSRTC bus service by school students at Maqdoompur village in Siddipet.
In a tweet, he said, “Seeing the children utilizing the free bus service by the school students of Maqdoompur Zilla Parishad High School to reach their school after travelling one kilometer from their village bring more happiness.”
He said the students were able to travel in the bus without spending a single rupee. Displaying Aadhar cards to the bus conductor, the students were happily travelling in the free bus introduced by the People's government. “It brings immense satisfaction on seeing students using the facility to reach their school free of cost,” he said.
Revanth Reddy launched the ‘Maha Lakshmi’ free bus travelling facility for girls, women of all age groups, and transgender persons in the State-run Palle Velugu and express buses operated by the TSRTC within the State borders on December 9, 2023 after the Congress won Assembly elections in Telangana and came to power.
