CMAs Play Key Role in Indian Economy, Says Governor Jishnu Dev
Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Sunday said cost and management accountants (CMAs) have played a crucial role in the development of the Indian economy by ensuring financial discipline, cost optimisation, and resource management.
Speaking at the diamond jubilee Celebrations of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), Hyderabad, the Governor highlighted the significance of CMAs in driving India towards becoming a $5 trillion economy and contributing to the goals of “Vision India@2047.”
He also praised the ICMAI Hyderabad chapter for its contributions to professional excellence and societal growth.
Dr Lavanya Kanduri, a cost and management accountant, welcomed the attendees and reflected on the chapter's six-decade journey. She said this year's theme, ‘Inspiration Incubator — Step into Action’, highlighted the chapter's dedication to transforming ideas into impactful action.
