Comments Against Chay: Astrologer Gets HC Relief

Hyderabad: In a relief to astrologer Venu Swamy, the Telangana High Court on Wednesday stayed the summons issued upon him by the Telangana State Commission for Women, in relation to his comments on actor Naga Chaitanya’s engagement with Shobita Dhulipala.

Ponnam Ashok Goud and Sanjay, counsels for the petitioner, contended that the commission had no authority or jurisdiction to issue notices. Justice Surepalli Nanda heard the petition and stayed the summons.
