Congress Cheated Telangana, Now It’s Maha’s Turn: Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad: The Congress government is cheating the people by spreading lies about its achievements, and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been propagating the same lies in the Maharashtra election campaign, said state BJP chief and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy.
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Kishan Reddy said, “The Congress came to power by giving false promises of Six Guarantees and 420 sub-guarantees. They have not started any work over 99 per cent of their promises. The Congress CM had ditched all sections of society. The duo of Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy has cheated the people of Telangana and plan to misguide voters of Maharashtra similarly.”
Claiming that the Telangana and Karnataka governments had been turned into ATMs for the Congress high command, Kishan Reddy said he had come to Maharashtra to explain the misdeeds of Revanth Reddy's government as the Telangana BJP president.
“Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Revanth Reddy visited every village before the Assembly election and promised Six Guarantees,” Kishan Reddy said, adding that no woman in Telangana had got Rs 2,500 assistance under the Mahalakshmi scheme, not farmers and tenant farmers Rs 15,000 financial assistance and farm labour Rs 12,000.
