Congress cheating farmers in Rythu Barosa, says Bandi
Hyderabad: Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s announcement to provide Rs 12,000 to farmers as ‘Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa’ was wicked as the Congress had, during the Assembly poll campaign, promised Rs 15,000 for every farmer and tenant farmer and Rs 12,000 to farm workers.
In a statement, Sanjay alleged that cheating people was in the Congress’ DNA. “There is no comparison between what the Congress had said in its ‘Abhaya Hastham’ promise and what is being announced by the CM,” Sanjay said. The government owed the Rythu Bharosa amount for the last year wanted to avoid that payment, he said.
The Congress government had cheated farmers by not paying Rs 500 additional bonus on procuring paddy and other crops, Rs 4,000 as pension to women and aged person and Rs 5 lakh card to students, he said.
