Congress Govt Plans Nine-Day Celebrations to Mark First Anniversary
Hyderabad:The government has lined up several events as part of nine-day Praja Palana-Praja Vijayotsavalu, to commemorate the first anniversary of the Congress government. The celebrations from December 1 to 9 aim to showcase the Congress government’s achievements and vision for the future.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will tour various districts to participate in these events and celebrations.
Dec. 1: Foundation stone for second phase of Integrated Residential Schools. Students will participate in essay-writing competitions, while the "CM Cup" sports events will be held from December 1 to 8.
Dec. 2: Inauguration of 16 nursing colleges and 28 paramedical institutions, launch of 213 ambulances, 33 transgender clinics, pilot project engaging transgender individuals as traffic volunteers.
Dec. 3: Hyderabad Rising initiative unveiling, inaugural of Zoo flyover, `150 crore worth of beautification projects in city, and development works for six flyovers/ junctions near KBR Park to commence.
Dec. 4: Foundation stone for Telangana Forest Development Corporation building; launch of virtual safari and tree introduction centre; Appointment letters to be distributed to 9,007 newly recruited candidates.
Dec. 5: Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar launch; debates held with women self-help groups, three advanced technology centres (ATCs) to be inaugurated in Medchal, Mallepally, and Nalgonda. Girls ITI college in Ghatkesar.
Dec. 6: Yadadri Thermal Power Plant to commence operations; foundation stones for 244 power substations.
Dec. 7: Launch of State Disaster Response Force; police bands to perform across locations; art exhibitions and cultural programmes will be held statewide
Dec. 8: Seven artificial intelligence (AI) projects to be launched alongside 130 MeeSeva centres. Groundbreaking ceremony for the AI City, foundation stone for Sports University scheduled.
Dec. 9: Unveiling of Telangana Talli statue in Secretariat premises in the presence of lakhs of Mahila Shakti members. The closing ceremonies at Hussainsagar will feature a drone show, fireworks, an art gallery, and stalls showcasing Telangana's culture and progress.
