Hyderabad:Senior Congress leaders on Wednesday clashed during a Hyderabad review meeting in the presence of ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin at Indira Bhavan on the Gandhi Bhavan premises.
A heated argument broke out between Osman Al‑Hajri and Feroz Khan, Assembly contestants from Karwan and Nampally. The video clip went viral the same day. The altercation quickly escalated from shouting to physical aggression, with Osman shoving Feroz to the ground. The dispute stemmed from a protocol issue over sharing the stage with the ministers. Government adviser V. Hanumantha Rao attempted to intervene as senior leaders stepped in to separate them. The meeting ended abruptly midway amid high tension.
Later, both described the incident as a family matter and clarified that it had been resolved between “two brothers.” Feroz Khan reportedly apologised to Osman to calm the situation. In response, Osman kissed Feroz on the forehead, signalling a quick patch‑up. “Osman Al‑Hajri is like a brother and insisted I share the stage with the ministers. There was a misunderstanding. There are no hard feelings and the issue now stands resolved,” Feroz said.
