Congress using caste survey to manipulate people: Etela

Praising Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in the country, Rajender pointed out his significant contributions such as building 12 crore toilets for women's dignity and helping 4 crore people achieve their dreams of homeownership

Warangal: Former minister and BJP MP Etela Rajendar on Tuesday accused the Congress of using the caste-based survey as a means to manipulate people.

Speaking to the media here in Mahabubabad district, he attacked the Congress for its multiple failures. Pointing out discrepancies in population statistics, the BJP leader alleged that while the SC population was pegged at 15-17 per cent and ST at 9-10.5 per cent, the BC population was reduced from 52 per cent to 46 per cent.

When former Chief Minister KCR issued G.O 317 and implemented the CPS pension system without providing DA (dearness allowance), Revanth Reddy government has not yet addressed this issue. It took nine years for people to turn against KCR, but Revanth has generated enough alienation among public in just nine months, he alleged.

Praising Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in the country, Rajender pointed out his significant contributions such as building 12 crore toilets for women's dignity and helping 4 crore people achieve their dreams of homeownership.

Through ‘Make in India’ initiative, the central government allocated funds in the budget to support industrial development across the nation and sanctioned major infrastructure projects such as the Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory and Kazipet Railway Coach Factory along with sanctioning ₹1.5 lakh crore in interest-free loans to states to set up industries.

He reaffirmed the Centre’s readiness to cooperate in setting up of the Bayyaram Steel Plant and highlighted the unmet promises from the state bifurcation such as the Sammakka Sarakka University and the Ramagundam Power Plant, questioning why these projects were still not realised.

He urged voters to choose the BJP which, he assured, would always stand by the people, unlike the Congress which he alleged prioritized personal gain over welfare of the state.
