Cyberabad Police Bust Fake G.O. Land Scam, 3 Arrested
Accused forged government orders to sell 10 acres of land for ₹3.5 crore per acre; ₹4 crore already collected

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police have busted a fake government order and illegal land deal racket in Narsingi, arresting three persons for allegedly forging documents to sell government land.
The case was registered following a complaint by a Tahsildar, who reported that fabricated Government Orders (G.Os.) were being circulated on social media, falsely claiming that government land in Survey No. 18 of Gandipet village had been regularised and allotted to private individuals.
During the investigation, police conducted searches at the residences of the accused and seized bank passbooks, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) documents, mobile phones and a laptop.
Probe revealed that members of the Nimmala family allegedly claimed ownership of around 10 acres of government poramboke land despite their petitions being dismissed by the High Court in 2025. They then conspired with others to sell the land at ₹3.5 crore per acre using forged documents.
Police said the accused had already collected nearly ₹4 crore from prospective buyers. Fake G.Os. and supporting documents were allegedly created to mislead victims into believing the land was legally allotted.
The arrested accused have been identified as Nimmala Rajesh Goud, Nimmala Venugopal and Nimmala Sai Kiran. Several others, including Bolla Ramesh and Brahma Naidu, are currently absconding, and efforts are underway to apprehend them.
Police have urged the public to verify land ownership records with concerned authorities and not rely on unverified documents or social media forwards before entering into property transactions.
