Hyderabad:To efficiently manage increasing traffic congestion and provide real-time traffic updates to commuters, the Cyberabad Traffic Pulse was officially launched by Cyberabad police commissioner Avinash Mohanty and joint commissioner Joel Davis, in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) at the Commissioner's office on Friday.
Speaking at the launch, Mohanty emphasised that ‘Cyberabad Traffic Pulse’ would play a crucial role in reducing traffic congestion and saving commuters' time by providing real-time alerts. He expressed confidence that this innovative service would significantly enhance road traffic management in the city. He extended his gratitude to SCSC and Tanla Platforms Limited for their support in making this initiative a reality.
Explaining the key features of the platform, JCP Davis said, "Cyberabad Traffic Pulse will provide citizens with real-time updates on traffic congestion, road diversions, and accidents, along with accurate details about the causes of congestion and estimated clearance times, on their WhatsApp, SMS, Google RCS, and even through flash messages. The dynamic aspect of the website is that it caters to the situation the subscriber is in. If their phone’s internet is off, an alert would be sent on SMS. If there is a fire accident or any other major accident, flash messages would also be sent to the subscribers."
One of the standout features of the platform is its ability to allow citizens to communicate directly with the Cyberabad Traffic Police via WhatsApp, enabling them to share suggestions and feedback. Subscribers can share their feedback on the website on 87126 63636.
