DGP Jitender Visits Telangana Police Academy
Hyderabad: DGP Dr Jitender on Wednesday stressed the importance of cultivating a passion for police service.
Dr Jitender, who was the chief guest at the event, interacted with 547 trainee sub-inspectors, who are currently undergoing training at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy, on Wednesday.
He urged the trainees to cultivate good behaviour towards citizens by being courteous, maintaining a respectful tone of voice and showing empathy towards victims and complainants.
In his address, the DGP emphasised the importance of developing a passion for police service. He reminded the trainees of the long service that lies ahead and stressed that having passion and respect for the police profession would be the key to their success.
Earlier, the director of the academy, Abhilasha Bisht welcomed him and encouraged the trainees to strive for excellence, instill discipline and uphold the responsibilities of a police officer throughout their careers.
During the visit, all aspects of the induction training and the facilities provided to the trainees were thoroughly explained to the DGP. Several trainees took the opportunity to interact with Jitender, expressing their deep satisfaction with the ongoing training programme.
