Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police on Saturday has advised citizens to plan their travel time accordingly in view of rains in the city.
Heavy rains lashed Hyderabad on Thursday bringing the city to standstill and also caused water logging and traffic jams.
The Met department has forecasted rains for Hyderabad for today and tomorrow.
India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad forecasted Light Rain or Thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds(30-40 kmph) very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening.
"Thunderstorm accompanied with Lightning and gusty winds(40-50 KMPH) very likely to occur at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool districts of Telangana," says the IMD Weather bulletin for today.
IMD has issued a yellow alert for Telangana till May 22.
