Hyderabad: The Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams are clearing trees that were uprooted during incessant rains that lashed the city since Saturday night.
On receiving information, the DRF personnel were rushing to the spot and clearing fallen trees using cutting machines to pave the way for the civic workers to carry out relief measures in rain affected areas.
The work of DRF was also enabling the officials of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGPSDCL) to take up repair works to the damaged electric poles.
In a tweet, Hydraa said the DRF teams were clearing fallen trees in various places in the city and asked the citizens to dial 040-21111111 or 9000113667 for GHMC-DRF assistance.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
