Hyderabad:Residents of Secunderabad Cantonment are set to receive a much-needed boost in their daily water supply. Following his request, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed HMWS&SB managing director Ashok Reddy to increase the water supply to the Cantonment area by an additional 1 Million Gallons per Day (MGD), said Cantonment MLA Sriganesh Narayanan on Wednesday.
“This increase raises the total daily water supply from 6MGD to 7 MGD, which will ensure an adequate water supply to all bastis and colonies in the Cantonment. The increase comes as a response to the growing population and the subsequent demand for water in the area. This development is a huge step in ensuring access to clean drinking water for the people of Secunderabad Cantonment," said Sriganesh.
