City police commissioner Kottakota Sreenivasa Reddy said that from now on, cases will be filed not only against peddlers and suppliers but also against drug addicts.
Hyderabad: City police commissioner Kottakota Sreenivasa Reddy on Monday expressed deep concern that getting hooked on to drugs was destroying rewarding careers of several youth.
Interacting with the media, Reddy said, “We will clamp down on the use of drugs that are being consumed by various means. Some youngsters are getting addicted to drugs by adding them in liquor thereby ruining their careers.”
He said that from now on, cases will be filed not only against peddlers and suppliers but also against drug addicts.
He advised parents to be vigilant when they send their children to parties. The youngsters should be on the alert when they meet strangers during parties.
