Hyderabad:The energy department has sanctioned Rs 4791.65 crore to Transco towards tariff subsidy for the period from November 2024 to March 2025. Giving an administrative sanction in this regard, the energy department released orders through GO No. 56 here on Friday.
The amount is towards meeting the expenditure of tariff subsidy duly following monthly restrictions under various schemes of assistance for agriculture and allied subsidy.
The order was released by principal secretary for energy Sandeep Kumar Sultania. Directions were given to the assistant secretary to draw the amount and accordingly credit it in TG distribution companies pool account.
