Hyderabad: Several parents staged a demonstration in front of St. Peter School in Nacharam on Monday taking strong objection to students for reaching school without footwear while observing Ayyappa Swamy deeksha.
Irate parents, who are also observing deeksha, squatted in front of the school and staged a protest denouncing the attitude of the school management for not allowing two children to attend the classes while observing deeksha.
They demanded that the school education department take stern action against the management for hurting the sentiments of the students. On coming to know about the protest, the Nacharam police rushed to the schools and pacified the parents.
