Etala Rajendar Opposes Demolition in Musi Rejuvenation Project
Hyderabad: BJP Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar reiterated that the party was not against Musi rejuvenation project but was only opposed to demolition of the houses of the poor. He said that the party was against plans to hand over the Musi river land to the rich and corporate companies.
Addressing a party membership drive in Bhavana Colony of in the cantonment area, Rajendar thanked the people for reposing faith in the BJP in the parliamentary polls. He asked the BJP to ensure that half the voters in the Malkajgiri constituency, largest in the country, enrolled with the party.
Rajendar said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy should try to do some good for the people in the remaining four years of his tenure. “He should see how KCR had to bite the dust. We will stand by the people in their time of difficulty,” he said. “Power is given by the people and not gifted by someone,” he said.
Addressing the general body meeting of All India Ex-Service Bank Employees Federation in Vayupuri, he said the soldiers who fought at the borders and farmers were the only ones who work selflessly. He promised to take to the government their plea for facilitating jobs to ex-servicemen.
