Ex-Telangana Digital Media Chief Arrested Over Jainoor Clashes Video
Hyderabad:Former Telangana Digital Media director Kontham Dileep was summoned for questioning and later arrested by the city cybercops for reposting provocative videos of an earlier incident, on Monday.
He was reportedly summoned by the city police related to his previous case of reposting video links of the Jainoor clashes which took place in September this year. According to reliable sources in the city cybercrime department, when Dileep appeared before the IO (investigating officer), he was told that he was “under arrest”.
As per Dileep’s statement, the cops took him to the OGH for medical examination and later produced him before a magistrate for the judicial remand.
On the other, Dileep, before visiting the cyber crime police, had posted a photograph on X, wherein he was standing next to the statue of a lion, stating in Hindi that “Sar Par Kafan Bandh Ke Chalne Waale, Maut Se Nahi Dartey (Death cannot deter him as he always dons loin clothes on his head).”
