Hyderabad: The State Task Force (STF) team of Prohibition and Excise department arrested four persons on charges of selling ganja to persons known to them.
As many as 1.654 kgs of ganja and four mobile phones were seized from the possession of the arrested persons identified as Ritesh Singh alias Chottu and Vishnu Singh, both residents of Dilawarganj, Pappu Singh of Lower Dhoolpet, and Nirmal Singh of Jummerat Bazaar.
Following instructions from the Director of Enforcement Prohibition and Excise VB Kamalasan Reddy, the STF team led by Excise Superintendent N. Anjireddy conducted searches at the house of Ritesh Singh in Upper Dhoolpet.
Around 1.654 kgs of ganja and five mobile phones were seized during searches and later arrested Ritesh Singh and three other persons for selling the contraband, according to Anjireddy.
