Facial Recognition Attendance System Launched at Telangana Secretariat

Hyderabad:The state government has introduced facial recognition system to record the attendance of employees working at the State Secretariat. At present, employees are marking attendance in manual method by signing in attendance registers. There were complaints of employees resorting to irregularities in the manual method.

To overcome this, it was decided to introduce advanced facial recognition system to record the attendance. Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari issued orders to this effect on Tuesday.

The CS directed employees and outsourcing staff to register for facial attendance system from November 22. Face recognition devices will be installed at all entry and exit points of Secretariat.
