Family of Deceased Naxalite Leader Consoled in Siddipet
Her death in the encounter left her family members in shock.

Siddipet: The family of woman naxalite leader Roopa alias Rangaboyina Bhagya was consoled in Dharmaram village of Mirdoddi mandal in Siddipet district on Tuesday, after she was killed in an encounter in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh on Monday.
Bhagya, a native of Dharmaram, had been associated with the CPI (Maoist) party for the last two decades, according to sources. Her death in the encounter left her family members in shock.
Dubbaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and SC/ST Commission State Chairman Bhakki Venkataiah visited the residence of the deceased and expressed condolences to the family members. They inquired about the incident in Chhattisgarh and conveyed grief over the development.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said Bhagya had fought for the people and assured that the BRS would extend support to the family members. He said efforts would be made for the welfare of the bereaved family through the government.
SC/ST Commission Chairman Bhakki Venkataiah also consoled the family members and assured support. Mirdoddi mandal president Anji Reddy, state leader Thota Kamalakar Reddy and local representatives were present.
